John has been building the web for over 20 years. For almost 10 years, he developed the front page and core systems for Mississippi State University. He also started and grew the university’s central social media presence from a single follower to hundreds of thousands of engaged followers.
Years ago, as an intern for Hancock Bank, John redesigned and rebuilt the bank’s public-facing web presence and worked heavily with the bank’s internal (Intranet) system–designing and coding key components to facilitate and simplify employee processes.
For about a decade, John has been building the online system that processes hundreds of thousands of orders for a regional apparel company. The system runs many facets of the business, allowing the business owner to keep the staff relatively small and focused on customer needs instead of time consuming processes.
John specializes in custom building web-based information and payment processing systems that perform unique functions for clients. His systems have serviced millions of users and processed tens of millions of dollars in online transactions. Registration systems, e-commerce stores, event ticketing, member management, login systems, all are systems that John has built from scratch for clients over the years to meet their unique needs.
John has also worked with procurement and contract negotiation/compliance for a large academic medical center, dealing heavily with technology-related contracts.
John holds an undergraduate degree in Business Information Systems and Masters of Business Administration from Mississippi State University. He is also a licensed attorney in Mississippi with a law degree from the University of Mississippi.
